PURION UV-PLANT
Solutions for treatment of Water
Radiation with Ultraviolet light delivers optimal protection against danger of infection. UV radiation is a well known und natural method to disinfect liquids. With usage of UV radiation one can leave out treatment of water by inserting of chlorine.
UV-Set PURION® 17W
The UV set consists of a quartz-made protective tube which is closed at one end while the other one is placed into a stainless steel flange, a UV radiator, the distribution box with its electronic cut-in unit and the connecting cables.
The stainless steel-made flange has three boreholes by which it may be tightly screwed down (like for instance to the housing’s walls). The function of the UV radiator being placed into the quartz-made protective tube may be safely controlled through the stainless steel-made flange’s transparent hood.
A control lamp will for instance be signalling lamp failure or cable breaking. A potential-free contact being connected therewith may be used for external signalling or connecting purposes.

PURION POOL UV plants
In privately-owned bathing facilities or monolithic swimming pools, water treatment performed with UV disinfection acts almost without adding any chemicals. Therefore « red eyes » and that typical smell from swimming pools as caused by chloramines are being efficiently reduced.
Monitoring of lamps service life Operating Time Counter – OTC
The OTC option works as a conventional operating hours counter. As the operating voltage is applied, the internal counter starts working. Previously, however, the start-up procedure will be executed. LEDs will be flashing red, yellow and green, one after another for 1 second. This procedure controls that the LEDs are functioning. In addition, a specific interruption of the process will enable counter’s resetting. For that purpose, the start-up process has to be interrupted twice in a row by purposely disconnecting the OTC during the yellow phase. When same is later reconnected, the counter will be reset. Resetting will be confirmed by a single blink of the green LED. Subsequently, the green LED must light up.
